North Penn-Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA), 62-46 in a league bout.

With the win, North Penn-Mansfield upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Athens (Athens, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Northern Tier bout on Thursday, February 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Black Knights confront the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Towanda will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 65-38 non-league win over Canton (Canton, PA).
