North Eagles (North, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wagener-Salley War Eagles (Wagener, SC), 93-46 in a league bout.

With the win, North upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Eagles host Hunter-Kinard-Tyler (Neeses, SC) to play the Trojans in a A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 26. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler won 44-42 in their recent league bout against Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC)

Next up, the War Eagles play the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks (Blackville, SC) in a A Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 26. Wagener-Salley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Fighting Hawks go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 51-47 league loss to Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC).
