The Soldotna Stars basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Palmer Moose to 52 in the Stars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Stars now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Birchwood Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Soldotna will battle a Warriors team coming off a 58-30 non-league loss to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 7-4.
The Moose (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Kardinals come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Kenai Central prevailed over Birchwood Christian (Chugiak, AK), 58-30, in a non-league contest.
