Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pisgah Dragons (Sandhill, MS) and the host Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS), saw Pisgah's basketball squad wallop Raleigh by a count of 62-33.

With the victory, Pisgah upgrades its record to 10-17 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Noxapater (Noxapater, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Noxapater won 46-45 in their recent league challenge against Ethel (Ethel, MS)

Next up, the Lions play the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS) in a 2A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Raleigh will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 60-32 league loss to Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS).
