In Thursday's non-league outing, the Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) basketball squad edged the host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL), by a margin of 49-47.

The Saukees (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 9-15 record. In their last outing, Jersey was tipped by Highland (Highland, IL), 67-54, in a league outing.
