The St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN), 89-52 in Thursday's league test.
The Fighting Saints (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Becker (Becker, MN). The Bulldogs go into the AAA Section 5 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Becker was trounced by St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN), 101-88, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Princeton will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 79-55 non-league win over Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-5.
