Wendell Trojans (Wendell, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sun Valley Community Cutthroats (Sun Valley, ID), 83-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Wendell upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Camas County (Fairfield, ID) to battle the Mushers in a non-league battle on Friday, January 26. The Mushers come into the battle with a record of 12-1. Camas County won 76-45 in their recent league battle against Hagerman (Hagerman, ID)

The Cutthroats (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hagerman (Hagerman, ID). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Hagerman trounced Twin Falls Christian Academy (Twin Falls, ID), 74-51, in a non-league battle.
