Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), 69-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Webster County upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Trojans host Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY) to play the Aces in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Aces go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Owensboro Catholic lost 72-54 in their recent non-league bout against Lyon County (Eddyville, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Trigg County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY).
