With the victory, Yorktown improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Herndon (Herndon, VA) to confront the Hornets in a District 2 challenge on Monday, January 29. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Herndon lost 50-43 in their recent league challenge against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Wakefield will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Saxons go into the outing with a 6-10 record after their 53-45 league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA).
