The Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Wingate Bears (Fort Wingate, NM), 65-25 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Crownpoint was trounced by Newcomb (Newcomb, NM), 38-18, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tohatchi for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Wingate will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 65-31 non-league win over Newcomb (Newcomb, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
