The Asher Indians (Asher, OK) basketball felled the visiting Wayne Bulldogs (Wayne, OK), 48-28 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Indians (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Calvin (Calvin, OK). The Bulldogs go into the Pontotoc test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Calvin was beaten by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, OK), 66-15, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Konawa for a Big 8 test on Friday, January 26. Wayne will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 54-19 non-league loss to Latta (Ada, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
