Ohio High School Basketball - New Philadelphia knocked off by Ashland

The Ashland Arrows basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers to 43 in the Arrows league triumph on Thursday.

The Arrows now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison Comprehensive for a Ohio Cardinal contest on Saturday, January 27. Ashland will battle a Rams team coming off a 52-37 league win over Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Rams record now stands at 6-10.

The Quakers (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Minutemen enter the Ohio Cardinal contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Lexington was defeated by Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH), 52-37, in a league contest.
