In Thursday's league outing, the Bayfront Charter Sharks (Chula Vista, CA) basketball squad edged the host Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA), by a count of 38-34.

The Sharks (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against The Cambridge School (San Diego, CA). The Griffins go into the Sierra outing with a 12-2 record.

The Tritons now hold a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Charter for a Patriot outing on Tuesday, January 30. Preuss UCSD will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 33-15 league loss to Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA). The Lions record now stands at 3-10.
