Bound Brook Crusaders (Bound Brook, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host South Hunterdon Eagles (Lambertville, NJ), 56-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bound Brook upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ) to play the Barrons in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Barrons come into the bout with a record of 12-7. Woodbridge lost 67-45 in their recent non-league bout against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. South Hunterdon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Newton (Newton, NJ).
