The Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV) basketball crushed the host Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV), 86-27 in Thursday's league test.
The Titans (12-0) will now prepare for their test against Tucker County (Hambleton, WV). The Mountain Lions go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Tucker County walloped Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV), 81-25, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Calhoun will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 69-33 league loss to Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
