In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Canute Trojans basketball team scored a decisive 59-12 triumph over the Cordell Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Hammon Warriors (Hammon, OK) in a Five County match, on Tuesday, January 30. Canute will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 17-5 record after their 51-37 league loss to Merritt (Elk City, OK).
With the defeat, Cordell moves to 7-11 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Burns Flat-Dill City (Burns Flat, OK) to meet the Eagles in a Shortgrass match on Friday, January 26. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-12. Burns Flat-Dill City lost 60-24 in their recent non-league match against Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK)
