In Thursday's league outing, the Jerome Tigers (Jerome, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Canyon Ridge Riverhawks (Twin Falls, ID), by a margin of 65-19.

The Tigers (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Minico (Rupert, ID). The Spartans go into the 4A Great Basin 7 outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Minico smashed Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID), 65-51, in a league outing.

The Riverhawks now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Emmett for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Canyon Ridge will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 55-37 league loss to Ridgevue (Nampa, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 7-12.
