Carter County Bulldogs (Ekalaka, MT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Plevna Cougars (Plevna, MT), 61-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Carter County upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Bulldogs host Powder River County (Broadus, MT) to play the Hawks in a C District 4 bout on Friday, January 26. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Powder River County lost 58-56 in their recent league bout against Terry (Terry, MT)

Next up, the Cougars play the Terry Terriers (Terry, MT) in a C District 4 bout, on Friday, January 26. Plevna will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Terriers go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 58-56 league win over Powder River County (Broadus, MT).
