Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars (Turtle Lake, ND) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wilton/Wing Miners (Wilton, ND), 65-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] upgrades its record to 21-0 on the season. The Cougars host Garrison (Garrison, ND) to play the Troopers in a B District 6 bout on Monday, January 29. The Troopers go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Garrison won 62-46 in their recent non-league bout against Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND)

Next up, the Miners play the South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Wilton/Wing will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The go into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 63-22 league win over Dunseith (Dunseith, ND).
