In Thursday's non-league outing, the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder (Pittsboro, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Guilford Home Educators Heat (Guilford, NC), by a margin of 38-19.

The Thunder (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Wake (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Sabres go into the North Carolina Home Education - East outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, South Wake was topped by O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC), 53-30, in a non-league outing.
