Monroe City Panthers (Monroe City, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clark County Indians (Kahoka, MO), 58-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Monroe City upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to South Shelby (Shelbina, MO) to play the Cardinals in a Clarence Cannon bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 15-4. South Shelby won 68-24 in their recent non-league bout against Milan (Milan, MO)

Next up, the Indians play the Hamilton Titans (West Hancock, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Clark County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Canton (Canton, MO).
