Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) supporters were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad wallop the host Cove Leopards (Cove, OR), 63-28 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Powder Valley improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR) to confront the Spartans in a 1A Old Oregon challenge on Friday, January 26. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Pine Eagle won 47-27 in their recent league challenge against Cove (Cove, OR)

Next up, the Leopards confront the Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Friday, January 26. Cove will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record.
