Ludlow Panthers (Ludlow, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY), 60-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ludlow upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a District 34 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Dixie Heights won 55-36 in their recent league bout against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY)

Next up, the Greendevils clash with the Bellevue Tigers (Bellevue, KY) in a District 36 bout, on Friday, January 26. Dayton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 55-54 non-league win over Bracken County (Brooksville, KY).
