The Delta Saints basketball team (Clarksburg, CA), was nudged 38-32 in Thursday's league battle with the host Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves (Nevada City, CA)

The Fire Wolves now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Victory Christian for a Central Valley California League battle on Saturday, January 27. Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning will confront a Vikings team coming off a 59-15 league loss to Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-18.

The Saints (14-9) will now prepare for their battle against Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Central Valley California League battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Encina Prep edged Victory Christian (Carmichael, CA), 59-15, in a league battle.
