In Thursday's league outing, the Richfield Wildcats (Richfield, UT) basketball squad beat the visiting Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT), by a count of 57-46.
The Wildcats (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Carbon (Price, UT). The Dinos go into the 3A Region 12 outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Carbon defeated Delta (Delta, UT), 61-42, in a league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Manti for a 3A Region 12 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Emery will clash with a Templars squad coming off a 51-41 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT). The Templars record now stands at 7-12.
