Alabama High School Basketball - Rocket City tops Evangel Christian

January 25, 2024: Huntsville, AL 35816

Rocket City Falcons (Huntsville, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Evangel Christian Lightning (Alabaster, AL), 56-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rocket City upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Tennessee Heat (Nashville, TN) to play the in a Mid-South HomeSchool bout on Saturday, January 27. The come into the bout with a record of 2-16.

Next up, the Lightning play the Brooklane Baptist Eagles (Hueytown, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Evangel Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 60-30 non-league loss to Marshall Christian Academy (Albertville, AL).
