Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), 40-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 12-13 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL) to play the Chiefs in a Heart Of Illinois bout on Monday, January 29. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 24-2. Deer Creek-Mackinaw lost 46-43 in their recent non-league bout against Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL)

Next up, the Bunnies play the Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Fisher will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 53-20 league win over Milford (Milford, IL).
