The Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL) basketball felled the host Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL), 41-25 in Thursday's league test.

The Cardinals (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Cougars go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Eastland was beaten by Dixon (Dixon, IL), 55-35, in a non-league test.

The Steamers now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Amboy for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. Fulton will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 51-19 non-league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Clippers record now stands at 19-6.
