Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM), 46-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort Sumner/House upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The travel to Grady (Grady, NM) to play the Bronchos in a A District 6 bout on Saturday, January 27. The Bronchos come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Grady won 63-45 in their recent non-league bout against San Jon (San Jon, NM)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Logan will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Coyotes come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 59-7 non-league win over Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, NM).
