Florida High School Basketball - Gadsden County nudges Wakulla

January 25, 2024: Havana, FL 32333

Gadsden County Jaguars (Havana, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wakulla War Eagles (Crawfordville, FL), 55-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Gadsden County upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 18-3.

Next up, the War Eagles clash with the St. John Paul II Panthers (Tallahassee, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Wakulla will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 38-33 non-league win over Franklin County (Eastpoint, FL).
