The Okeene Whippets (Okeene, OK) basketball felled the visiting Geary Bison (Geary, OK), 36-25 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Whippets (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Canton (Canton, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Canton thwarted Cherokee (Cherokee, OK), 33-18, in a non-league test.
The Bison now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Union City for a Washita Valley test on Saturday, January 27. Geary will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 53-31 non-league loss to Oklahoma Bible (Enid, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 13-8.
