The Grantsville Cowboys (Grantsville, UT) basketball crushed the visiting Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT), 72-38 in Thursday's league test.
The Cowboys (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Morgan (Morgan, UT). The Trojans go into the 3A Region 13 test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Morgan walloped Ogden (Ogden, UT), 69-41, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Ben Lomond for a 3A Region 13 test on Tuesday, January 30. Union will encounter a Scots squad coming off a 49-32 league loss to South Summit (Kamas, UT). The Scots record now stands at 6-12.
