Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting GVCS Broadfording Lions (Hagerstown, MD), 59-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Musselman upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Applemen host Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV) to play the Cougars in a Eastern Panhandle bout on Monday, January 29. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-10.

Next up, the Lions play the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. GVCS Broadfording will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 57-29 non-league win over Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD).
