Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), 49-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Marengo upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL) to play the Skyhawks in a Kishwaukee River bout on Saturday, January 27. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a record of 12-8.
Next up, the Hornets play the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Saturday, January 27. Harvard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record.
