The Holdingford Huskers (Holdingford, MN) basketball crushed the host Maple Lake Irish (Maple Lake, MN), 72-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Huskers (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Paynesville was trounced by Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN), 55-46, in a league test.
The Irish now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Braham for a A Section 5 test on Friday, January 26. Maple Lake will encounter a Bombers squad coming off a 58-49 league win over Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 14-3.
