The Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Holton Wildcats to 22 in the Cyclones league victory on Thursday.

The Cyclones now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyndon for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will battle a Tigers team coming off a 47-24 non-league win over Council Grove (Council Grove, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.

The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chapman (Chapman, KS). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Chapman triumphed over Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS), 40-34, in a non-league contest.
