Taylor County Bulldogs (Perry, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Monticello, FL), 2-0 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Taylor County upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Jefferson County (Monticello, FL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Tigers play the Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Jefferson County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
