Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Knott County Central upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Patriots travel to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Lawrence County won 55-45 in their recent non-league bout against Martin County (Inez, KY)

Next up, the Commodores play the Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY) in a District 54 bout, on Friday, January 26. Perry County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 67-32 league loss to Hazard (Hazard, KY).
