The Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS), 59-40 in Thursday's league test.
The Conquistadors (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region 1 test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Center Hill notched a victory over Saltillo (Saltillo, MS), 64-41, in a league test.
The now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to South Panola for a 6A Region 1 test on Friday, January 26. Lake Cormorant will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 80-60 league win over Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 13-3.
