In Thursday's league outing, the Morenci Bulldogs (Morenci, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Lenawee Christian Cougars (Adrian, MI), by a margin of 44-28.

The Bulldogs (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Blissfield (Blissfield, MI). The Royals go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Blissfield toppled Clinton (Clinton, MI), 49-26, in a league bout.

Next up, the Cougars play the Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) in a Tri-County bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Lenawee Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 45-24 league win over Erie-Mason (Erie, MI).
