In Thursday's league outing, the St. Dominic Academy Blue Devils (Jersey City, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Lincoln Lions (Jersey City, NJ), by a count of 44-37.
The Blue Devils (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record.
The Lions now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Union City for a Hudson County - American outing on Saturday, January 27. Lincoln will clash with a Soaring Eagles squad coming off a 59-54 league win over Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ). The Soaring Eagles record now stands at 12-6.
