Powell Panthers (Powell, WY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lovell Bulldogs (Lovell, WY), 48-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Powell upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cody (Cody, WY) to play the Broncs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Broncs go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Cody won 56-40 in their recent non-league bout against Powell (Powell, WY)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hot Springs County Bobcats (Thermopolis, WY) in a 3A Northwest bout, on Friday, January 26. Lovell will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 50-44 league loss to Worland (Worland, WY).
