The Marquette Crusaders basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Midland Timberwolves to 33 in the Crusaders league victory on Thursday.

The Crusaders now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alden-Hebron for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Marquette will battle a Green Giants team coming off a 62-31 league win over Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL). The Green Giants record now stands at 16-6.

The Timberwolves (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Rockets come into the Tri-County contest with a 5-20 record. In their last contest, Roanoke-Benson edged Seneca (Seneca, IL), 56-33, in a league contest.
