Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mercer can't hold off West Middlesex

The West Middlesex Big Reds basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Mercer Mustangs to 40 in the Big Reds league triumph on Thursday.
The Big Reds now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Commodore Perry for a District 10 Region 1 contest on Monday, January 29. West Middlesex will battle a Panthers team coming off a 29-24 league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-15.
The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The Sailors enter the District 10 Region 1 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Lakeview nudged Farrell (Farrell, PA), 54-32, in a league contest.
