White House Blue Devils (White House, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks (Hendersonville, TN), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, White House upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Blue Devils host Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN) to play the Bobcats in a 3A District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Greenbrier lost 53-50 in their recent league bout against Portland (Portland, TN)

Next up, the Hawks play the Knowledge Academies (Antioch, TN) in a 1A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Merrol Hyde Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 43-22 league loss to Merrol Hyde Magnet (Hendersonville, TN).
