The Sequoyah School Gryphons basketball team (Pasadena, CA), was overwhelmed 49-9 in Thursday's league battle with the host Mesrobian Bulldogs (Pico Rivera, CA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to EF Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 26. Mesrobian will confront a EF Academy team coming off a 35-10 non-league loss to NOVA Academy (Santa Ana, CA). The EF Academy record now stands at 2-8.

The Gryphons (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern Academy (San Marino, CA). The Sun come into the International battle with a 4-9 record.
