In Thursday's non-league outing, the North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) basketball squad felled the visiting Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA), by a margin of 60-48.
The Lynx (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Buccaneers go into the Tri-Rivers - West outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, East Buchanan was beaten by Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 60-51, in a league outing.
