In Thursday's league outing, the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a count of 50-22.

The Grape Pickers (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Iroquois (Erie, PA). The Braves go into the District 10 Region 3 outing with a 0-13 record. In their last outing, Iroquois was crushed by Titusville (Titusville, PA), 50-42, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Eisenhower for a District 10 Region 3 outing on Monday, January 29. Northwestern will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 51-43 league loss to Seneca (Erie, PA). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.
