Roeper Roughriders (Birmingham, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Novi Christian Academy Warriors (Novi, MI), 51-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roeper upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Clarenceville (Livonia, MI) to play the Trojans in a Michigan Independent - Red bout on Thursday, January 25. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Clarenceville lost 23-22 in their recent league bout against Lutheran (Westland, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Lutheran Warriors (Westland, MI) in a Michigan Independent - Red bout, on Friday, January 26. Novi Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 23-22 league win over Clarenceville (Livonia, MI).
