Idaho High School Basketball - Orofino can't hold off St. Maries

The St. Maries Lumberjacks basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Orofino Maniacs to 37 in the Lumberjacks league triumph on Thursday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grangeville for a 2A Central Idaho contest on Saturday, January 27. St. Maries will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Kamiah (Kamiah, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-2.
The Maniacs (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kellogg (Kellogg, ID). The Wildcats enter the 2A Central Idaho contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Kellogg nudged Priest River (Priest River, ID), 61-31, in a league contest.
